About The Show

Times & Availability
Our full-scale production—complete with professional staging, lighting, and music—is set for May/June 2025 and we can’t wait to see you shine!
All cast members required to attend weekly classes:
Ages 4–7 / 8–11 Tuesdays 4–5 pm OR Sundays 11–12 pm
Ages 11–14 Wednesdays 5:30–7 pm OR Thursdays Time TBC
Ages 14+ Wednesdays 7–8:30 pm OR Thursdays Time TBC
(Principal roles will be required to attend additional rehearsals as needed, and there will be full company rehearsals scheduled closer to the performance dates)
🎭 Character Breakdown
Principal Roles
Matilda (4-12) – Strong singer & actress. Clever, brave, and kind.
Miss Honey (13–18) – Strong singer & actress. Gentle but resilient teacher.
Miss Trunchbull (13–18, any gender) – Strong singing & acting. A hilarious, over-the-top villain.
Bruce (4-12) – Strong singer/actor. Big solo moment (the famous chocolate cake!).
Lavender (4-12) – Cheerful, loyal best friend. Acting & singing.
Mr Wormwood (13–18) – Comedy role. Acting with some singing.
Mrs Wormwood (13–18) – Comedy role. Dancing/acting with light singing.
Supporting Roles
Nigel (4-12) – Strong singer/actor. Sweet but panicky classmate.
Amanda / Alice / Hortensia / Tommy (4-12) – Fun schoolmates, each with solos. Great for singers/movers.
Michael (10–14) – Comedy acting role. Matilda’s clueless brother.
Mrs Phelps (13–18) – Acting role. Warm-hearted librarian.
Escapologist & Acrobat (13–18) – Singing/acting roles from Matilda’s imagination.
Rudolpho (13–18) – Comedy singer/dancer. Mrs Wormwood’s flamboyant partner.
Sergei (13–18) – Acting role. Intimidating gangster cameo.
Ensemble (ages 4-18)
Includes School Kids, Big Kids, Parents and more.
Ensemble members are featured throughout the show with big harmonies, movement, and group scenes.
